Marina Del Rey is an incredible, coastal community in the heart of Los Angeles’ Westside. Many specialize in California Contemporary cuisine and there are also numerous Thai, Italian and sushi establishments. On land, enjoy the parks, volleyball at Mother’s Beach, stroll the Burke Marina Walk Promenade of shop at the waterfront Fisherman’s Village complex.
While Marina Del Rey is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, there are actually no schools within the boundaries of Marina Del Rey. Students who live here attend classes in neighboring Venice and are zoned for the well respected Coeur D’Alene Elementary School, Marina Del Rey Middle School and Venice High.
